Medico Legal
I have been preparing medicolegal reports since 2011 and currently produce 250 personal injury reports per year. These are commissioned by claimants’ solicitors, defence/insurance company solicitors, and on a joint basis in a ratio of approximately 50:45:5. I also undertake clinical negligence work in cases involving shoulder pathology or surgery and am happy to attend conferences and court.
With a sound knowledge and understanding of legal principles and the civil procedure rules, I pride myself on providing an impartial, analytical and logical opinion, based on the latest evidence. I am able to grasp the essential points of the case with ease and can summarise them effectively. I have formal training from Bond Solon and regularly attend medicolegal conferences organised by the British Orthopaedic Association. All reports are prepared to the guidelines introduced by the Law Society and conform to Lord Woolf’s reforms.
